Zero Carbon Systems

Zero Carbon Systems

Direct air capture for CO2 removal

Overview

Zero Carbon Systems captures CO2 from the ambient air using direct air capture technology and scales the process for mass removal. Its systems run continuously and can operate entirely on renewable electricity, using very large, high-throughput units to lower costs. The company leverages core technology from Global Thermostat to enable megaton-scale removal and focuses on economics through continuous operation and high throughput. Its goal is to remove at least 0.5 gigatons of CO2 per year by 2050, backed by Zero Carbon Partners.
