Overview

Zipline designs, builds, and operates a drone-based logistics network for fast, on-demand deliveries using autonomous electric drones called Zips and a ground-based delivery droid on Platform 2. Drones cover about 10 miles in roughly 10 minutes, fly at 300+ feet to stay quiet, hover at the destination, and lower a delivery droid to place the package on a doorstep or patio. The company partners with healthcare providers, retailers, and restaurants to offer end-to-end delivery services and holds FAA Part 135 certification for long-range drone flights in the US. Its goal is to provide fast, reliable, and scalable last-mile logistics through a global drone network that expands access to critical supplies while reducing traditional delivery traffic and emissions.
