  • A high school diploma is required.
  • A trade certification is required.
  • Knowledge of a specific trade such as pool maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, or heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is required.
  • Ability to understand and implement industry tools, materials, and hotel best practices.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards, Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations, building codes, and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid certifications, or willingness to receive training within three months.

  • Ability to identify appropriate tools, equipment, and techniques for welding, wiring, measuring, cutting, assembling, and repairing components.
  • Ability to diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply practical solutions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with Guest Services, Front Office, and Housekeeping departments.
  • Ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and second shift.
  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, bend, and remain on one's feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in adverse conditions, use protective equipment around hazardous materials, and walk on slippery or uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds individually or with assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Perform property inspections to ensure common areas are maintained in like-new condition and building systems are in good working order.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues identified during property inspections.
  • Inspect rooms to ensure lighting, electronics, appliances, furniture, fixtures, paint, and woodwork meet required standards.
  • Address and resolve maintenance issues as they arise.
  • Perform periodic preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment as directed by engineering management.
  • Prioritize, organize, and complete departmental work orders and guest requests promptly.
  • Complete required paperwork and update open work orders accurately and on time.
  • Complete tasks within deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Maintain a polite and courteous attitude toward guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

She will report directly to President and Chief Operating Officer, Tom Braun. Jacobi joins the Galaxy with more than 15 years of experience driving customer engagement and revenue growth across premium hospitality, resorts, and lifestyle brands. She will lead the Club's creative and marketing organization with a mandate centered on performance, insight, and connecting with new and existing fans in more meaningful ways. Most recently, Jacobi served as Vice President of Marketing, Digital & E-Commerce at Aspen One, where she oversaw digital marketing for Aspen Snowmass and a portfolio of global lifestyle brands. In that role, she led performance marketing, e-commerce strategy, and guest experience initiatives, helping modernize how the organization engaged with audiences across platforms and touchpoints.
