Network & Security Engineer
About the job
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs, and authentication.
- Work in a structured, project-oriented manner with attention to detail.
- Switch effectively among different customers, environments, and technologies.
- Communicate effectively and be comfortable working in Dutch and English.
- Design and implement network and security solutions aligned with clients’ vision and strategy.
- Install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Advise clients on technical questions, contribute to solutions, and help with documentation, procedures, and proposals.
- Keep current with new technologies, products, and best practices in the field.
- Handle incidents efficiently, prioritize appropriately, and escalate when necessary while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- A Bachelor’s degree in ICT is preferred, though professionals with relevant experience are also welcome.
- CCNA or CCNP certifications, and knowledge of IT service management tools and ITIL, are a plus.
- French language ability is a plus.
