About the company

LayerZero Labs builds a cross-chain interoperability protocol that connects more than 50 blockchains, enabling omnichain applications, tokens, and experiences. Its product runs on immutable on-chain endpoints with a configurable Security Stack and a permissionless set of Executors that carry censorship-resistant messages between chains. Developers and blockchain organizations use LayerZero to define their own security and efficiency configurations, making it possible to transfer assets and governance data across networks (for example, Curve’s token transfers between Ethereum and Fantom, and Uniswap governance messages on Avalanche). The platform differentiates itself by offering direct, configurable cross-chain messaging and asset transfer through a unified protocol rather than relying on third-party bridges. LayerZero’s goal is to provide seamless, scalable interoperability for building multi-chain applications and ecosystems.

SushiSwap expands Robinhood Chain tools through LayerZero partnership.

SushiSwap expands Robinhood Chain tools through LayerZero partnership. The partnership lets builders create and pair tokens on Robinhood Chain through Sushi Launch, extending SushiSwap's multichain activity beyond HYPE. Published Oct 13, 2026, 5:40 PM EDT Mentioned assets SushiSwap is expanding its tools on Robinhood Chain through a LayerZero partnership that lets builders create and pair tokens on the network through Sushi Launch. LayerZero supplies the cross-chain communication infrastructure supporting the expansion. The move gives builders token-creation and pairing tools on Robinhood Chain while extending SushiSwap's multichain activity beyond HYPE. Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 built with Arbitrum technology. Robinhood launched its public mainnet on July 1, 2026. SushiSwap previously launched HYPE trading and liquidity on Robinhood Chain, giving users access to trading and liquidity provision for the token on the network. That launch also involved LayerZero and formed part of SushiSwap's multichain strategy. SushiSwap is a decentralized exchange focused on trading, liquidity provision and yield farming. LayerZero is a cross-chain communication protocol that connects blockchain networks. Simon Yoon. Simon Yoon reports on blockchain technology for TokenPost. LayerZero and Blockaid launch Bridge Sentinel for cross-chain security.

LayerZero and Blockaid launch Bridge Sentinel for cross-chain security. Phemex News 2026/10/09 06:06 LayerZero has partnered with Blockaid to launch Bridge Sentinel, a decentralized verification network (DVN) designed to enhance cross-chain message security. The system utilizes real-time threat intelligence to screen for fake source events, malicious counterparties, and stolen fund flows before messages are verified on-chain. Asset issuers utilizing the LayerZero Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard can now opt to integrate Bridge Sentinel into their DVN configuration. This addition provides an extra layer of protection by validating transaction integrity prior to execution within the LayerZero ecosystem. Can LayerZero sustain the 11% rally against $9.07M selling pressure?

Can LayerZero sustain the 11% rally against $9.07M selling pressure? * Guido Battigelli * Published: October 2, 2026 * 5:01 pm * Updated: October 2, 2026 * 5:01 pm Table of Contents * LayerZero recorded an 11.3% gain in the last session; its token ZRO trades at $1.96 with a market capitalization of $765 million. * Perpetual contract volume surpassed $279 million in 24 hours, with a Long/Short ratio of 1.56 reflecting a predominance of buy positions. * Despite the rally, net sell flow accumulated $9.07 million over the past ten days, placing constant selling pressure on the token. LayerZero has accumulated an 11.3% gain in the last session; its token ZRO trades at $1.96 per unit according to CoinMarketCap data at the time of writing. Trading volume grew 37% to surpass $210 million, while market capitalization stands at around $765 million. The jump occurs in a context where traders in the perpetual contracts market maintain a markedly buy-leaning stance, although the accumulated selling pressure in the spot market raises questions about the sustainability of the rally. The perpetuals market drives LayerZero's rally. Total volume in the perpetual contracts market for LayerZero (ZRO) reached approximately $279 million in the last 24 hours, according to CoinGlass data. The Long/Short ratio stood at 1.56, confirming that the majority of activity stems from long positions. The open interest-weighted funding rate on Binance reached 0.0066%, an indicator that reinforces the bullish bias among traders in the market. Binance accounts for more than 32% of total volume, with $92.36 million traded, positioning it as the leading venue by activity in ZRO. The behavior of different trader profiles on Binance reinforces the bullish picture. Retail traders show a buy ratio of 1.57, while whales - those controlling large volumes of capital - register a Long/Short ratio of 4.47. The so-called "smart money", historically associated with more profitable bets, also maintains an extremely bullish stance. Selling pressure threatens ZRO's gains. However, liquidation data warns of the risks of premature bullish positioning. In the last 24 hours, long traders on Binance accumulated losses of $74,380, compared to $47,500 on the short side. At the global market level, long positions lost more than $141,281 in the same period. Net flow in the spot market adds $2.52 million in favor of sells in the most recent session. Extended over the past ten days, that cumulative figure rises to $9.07 million in net outflows, confirming that sellers have not left the market. This dynamic represents the main risk factor for the continuation of LayerZero's rally in the short term. TL;DR Coinbase completed on October 1, 2026 the migration of its international exchange to Deribit, leaving the previous platform in read-only mode. Affected institutional clients TL;DR Bitcoin surpassed $86,000 with a 3.6% gain, and its dominance in the crypto market is approaching 60% for the first time in months.
