About the Company

Ladder

Digital platform connecting contractors with electricians

Ladder connects construction contractors with skilled electricians in the electrical sector through a digital platform that streamlines the hiring process. Contractors post full-time job openings, and Ladder charges a fee for connecting them with qualified workers, while avoiding staffing-agency models by only allowing real contractors to post jobs. For job seekers, Ladder offers a free online course with basic electrical training and safety guidance, and upon completion the platform notifies potential employers, which has led to a high rate of job offers for graduates. The company differentiates itself by focusing on authentic contractor-led postings, combining a practical training-to-employment pathway with a technology-based hiring flow created by ex-contractors and technologists. Its goal is to simplify and accelerate the process of finding reliable electrical talent for contractors and to provide a clear entry path for newcomers into the electrical trades.
