Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Expert in HTML, CSS, Handlebars and MJML with a good understanding of comms functionality across devices and email providers
  • Experienced and knowledgeable about email development and inbox best practices, including dark mode, AMP, email weight, accessibility, and more
  • Understanding of component-driven design systems
  • Confident in working with large data sets and SQL
  • Experience in an operational comms marketing role at a high performing marketing ops organization
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Responsibilities
  • Develop eye-catching comms using your HTML and CSS skills
  • Work cross-functionally to create highly targeted and personalized campaigns in our primary CRM platform, Iterable
  • Maintain the highest level of comms quality and error-free launches
  • Build and manage a database of scalable, easy-to-maintain comms templates
  • QA emails, journeys, and data across our ESP
  • Keep our comms fresh and fun with regular A/B testing to see what works best
  • Utilize complex data to incorporate customization and personalization for our users
  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices to keep us ahead of the game
  • Identify improvements that help scale our comms capacity through templates, scripting, and automation
  • Work closely with cross- and inter-functional teams (Product, Design, etc.) to ensure our comms efforts align with company goals
  • Keep stakeholders in the loop about campaign plans, progress, and performance in a clear and engaging way
  • Identify process inefficiencies and proactively optimize them
  • Own documentation related to data requirements, processes, and tech stack
