Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java and experience with Hadoop programming.
- Experience with Java Enterprise Edition, Java Message Service, Hibernate, Spring, and JUnit is preferred.
- Interest in learning technologies such as Cassandra, Solr, and Jenkins.
- Interest in data mining, machine learning, clustering, and tag clouds.
- Experience with NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with big data and data analysis.
- A mindset that research should lead to actionable results.
Responsibilities
- Work with technologies such as Hadoop, Solr, and Cassandra.
- Work with enormous data sets, perform data mining, and use machine learning techniques.
- Solve challenging problems alongside a team of engineers.
- Develop new skills while expanding technical knowledge.
