Requirements
  • 3 years experience in a medical environment required
  • IDX experience, some knowledge of medical insurances preferred
  • Leadership experience preferred
  • Computer literate, excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • All incumbents must satisfactorily complete a Cooper IDX training program to include Registration, Scheduling, E-Commerce and FSC
Responsibilities
  • Lead others in providing prompt and accurate patient registrations while delivering good customer service
  • Must be able to multitask and work in a team environment
  • Serve as a lead and front-line contact person for all incoming patients
  • Greet, register, schedule and provide general information to patients and/or their families
  • Ensure that insurance information is verified
  • Co-pays are collected
  • Patient charts are prepared in advance
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and care in accordance with the Patient’s Bill of Rights
