  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Hold a current, active Pharmacy license granted by the State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Meet one of the following: at least one year of sterile IV admixture experience; knowledge of non-sterile compounding, immunizations, and medication therapy management; completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency Program; completion of an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience associated with an accredited school of pharmacy; or equivalent experience approved by the Vice President of Pharmacy and/or Senior Vice President of Clinical Services.
  • Have experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting service quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Have basic-level skill in Microsoft Word, including document editing, formatting, sorting, inserting content, find and replace, spell check, track changes, review pane, and printing.
  • Have basic-level skill in Microsoft Excel, including workbook editing, cell formatting, copying and saving, worksheet management, charts, page setup, spell check, and printing.
  • Have basic-level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint, including managing and editing slides, formatting text and objects, inserting tables or notes, changing views, printing, and running slide shows.
  • Be willing to travel up to 5% of the time for business purposes within the state.
  • Have at least one year of experience in indirect management of team members, including assisting with their development, training, and assignment of work or projects.
Responsibilities
  • Determine patients' suitability for home care by collecting and organizing patient-specific information and assessing their medical condition, prescribed medication therapy, prognosis, and outcome goals in accordance with company policies.
  • Design, recommend, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacy care plans and pharmacotherapy; recommend appropriate changes to medication therapy or monitoring parameters; identify information needed to prevent, detect, and resolve medication-related problems; and complete nutritional assessments with recommendations.
  • Modify pharmacy care plans based on monitoring data and other relevant patient-specific information; apply pharmacokinetic principles and formulas; and assess patient laboratory values.
  • Provide medication-use education to company staff, other professionals, patients, and caregivers, using effective counseling techniques.
  • Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care between home and other care settings by communicating relevant patient information; prepare and dispense medications appropriately; calibrate equipment; ensure appropriate concentration, compatibility, stability, and storage; follow safety and quality assurance practices; prepare compliant labels and ancillary labels; inspect final medications; verify authorization to dispense; comply with state and federal laws and USP standards, including Drug Enforcement Administration controlled-substance regulations; and follow inventory policies for Schedule II narcotics, controlled substances, and other medications subject to diversion.
  • Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot medication administration and medication-related equipment; program and maintain equipment and advise others on its use; participate in assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents and equipment errors or failures; complete QAR documents according to policy; and monitor and report inventory discrepancies involving Schedule II narcotics and other medications subject to diversion.
  • Respond concisely, appropriately, and promptly to drug-information requests from healthcare providers and patients; base responses on literature analysis; attend educational seminars or other continuing education opportunities; and meet state-mandated continuing education requirements.
  • Manage investigational drug products in accordance with regulations and company policies; use pharmacy support personnel effectively; prioritize workload and organize workflow according to available resources; complete required work within available time; and ensure the accuracy of pharmacy support personnel's work.
  • Comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information and follow legal and ethical confidentiality guidelines.

Option Care Health Q2 beats expectations with $1.4B revenue, narrows full-year guidance

Option Care Health reported second-quarter 2026 results that exceeded expectations. Revenue rose 7% sequentially to $1.4 billion, whilst adjusted EBITDA increased 12% to $117.5 million and adjusted EPS reached $0.45. Operating cash flow totalled $184 million. Acute therapies posted high-single-digit organic growth, while chronic revenue improved sequentially as the CID portfolio began to stabilise. However, CID-related pressure is expected to reduce 2026 revenue by roughly 600 basis points and gross profit by $55 million. The home and alternate-site infusion provider maintained its full-year revenue guidance at $5.675 billion to $5.775 billion. Adjusted EBITDA guidance was narrowed to $480 million to $495 million, and adjusted EPS guidance to $1.85 to $1.92. The company repurchased $150 million of shares, nearly 5% of shares outstanding.

Option Care Health posts weakest Q1 among home health stocks, shares drop 27%

Option Care Health, the largest independent provider of home infusion services in the US, reported Q1 revenues of $1.35 billion, up 1.3% year on year but missing analyst expectations by 3.3%. The company operates 177 locations across 43 states with over 4,500 clinicians. Chief executive John Rademacher acknowledged the "mixed performance" and expressed dissatisfaction with revenue growth momentum. Full-year guidance also fell short of analyst expectations. Across the senior health, home health and hospice sector, seven tracked companies reported a satisfactory Q1, with revenues beating consensus estimates by 0.9% on average. However, Option Care Health posted the weakest performance against analyst estimates despite raising full-year guidance. The stock has fallen 27.1% since reporting, currently trading at $21.59.
