  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Software or Systems)
  • Experience in restaurant operational design
  • 8+ years of experience in sales and customer relations
  • Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and closing net new accounts from cold outreach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to pitch automation to large scale kitchens
  • Ability to reach out to mid-market regional brands
  • Strong leadership skills with potential to manage a growing sales team
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time and work in our HQ in Pasadena, CA daily when not traveling
Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the strategic plan and projections for sales
  • Onboard and train customers on products, allowing for a smooth integration
  • Lead customer meetings, set agendas, communicate action items, and ensure timely follow-through on tasks
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with current and potential customers
  • Educate prospective customers on products through cold calls and presentations
  • Create and update sales collateral, plan and deliver presentations on products
  • Lead in-person sales tours of the Miso Robotics lab
  • Build and own the CRM process at Miso Robotics
  • Audit and maintain the pipeline for management and executive visibility
  • Progress an evolving matrix of potential customers through the sales pipeline, cold call to contract negotiation, installation, and retention
  • Create proposals for customer pricing models beneficial to the customer and feasible for the business
  • Update the customer agreement (MSA) to reflect the business model
  • Monitor competitor sales activities and understand the market landscape and how our product is uniquely positioned
  • Partner with the existing Miso sales team to achieve the best possible results through coaching and mentoring
