Position Overview:

JAVAD GNSS seeks a Geomatics Support Engineer for our Fort Wright, KY office. You’ll play a vital role in advising customers on our GNSS geospatial products, as well as managing product maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. This position requires a US citizen or permanent resident who is flexible, detail-oriented, and collaborative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply geomatics and computer science principles to resolve GNSS product issues.
• Conduct field tests, record performance data, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Interface with Customer Support and directly assist customers with product issues.
• Collaborate with software development and product management teams to address product revisions.
• Write user guides, application notes, and support documentation.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (under 25%).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: BSc or MSc in Geomatics, Geodesy, Survey & Mapping, GIS, or related field.
  • GNSS product experience preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• Soft Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication, independent worker, team oriented.
