Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in Engineering and Production leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
  • Proven capability with building and running high performing teams
  • Expertise in Program Management, including schedule and cost control
  • Experience in building large scale structures in a production environment
  • Ability to leverage Rocket Lab’s existing global team and facilities
Responsibilities
  • Overseeing end-to-end operations at the Space Structures Complex
  • Delivery of launch vehicle structures & assemblies, supporting production tooling and equipment
  • Building and maintaining a team of production tech. staff
  • Developing project plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of key projects spanning multiple departments and disciplines
  • Maintaining close relationships with various functions within the Neutron Organization
  • Ensuring health and safety policies and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Managing, mentoring, and supporting staff
  • Identifying and providing opportunities for professional development
  • Ensuring recruitment and resourcing needs are met
  • Coaching staff in issues of performance management
  • Conforming to U.S. Government space technology export regulations
