THE WORK:
- You’ll develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
- You’ll monitor and actively participate in project and program scheduling issues, applying best practices and standards to ensure effective schedule management and timely project completion.
- You’ll obtain accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams, ensuring that all necessary data is received on schedule and performs QA/QC to verify accuracy and consistency.
- You’ll create and develop conceptual "what-if" schedules for multiple project types, including large and complex multi-year K-12 projects, to analyze potential outcomes and assess risks.
- You’ll perform critical path analysis to identify and track project milestones, key dependencies, and constraints, ensuring that any potential delays are identified and addressed proactively.
- You’ll conduct Earned Value analysis to assess project performance, including cost and schedule health, and provides reports to management and key stakeholders on the project’s status.
- You’ll prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management, summarizing key scheduling metrics, identifying risks, and offering recommendations for course correction.
- You’ll collaborate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve scheduling challenges, ensuring all parties are aligned on progress and deadlines.
- You’ll ensure the integration and coordination of schedules across multiple projects within the program, actively tracking milestones and managing dependencies to meet project objectives.
- You’ll continuously review and optimize the program schedule by evaluating performance data, identifying opportunities for improvements, and recommending corrective actions to ensure alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management OR
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in any course, with an additional two (2) years of experience in Construction Scheduling
- Minimum of five (5) years full time paid professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor
- Minimum of two (2) years full time paid professional experience in using Primavera 15.1 or above
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience in an educational facility or public works projects
- Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification or related certificates
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
- Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and planning skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
