Provo announces Bike to Work Day with breakfast stations for cyclists.

Provo announces Bike to Work Day with breakfast stations for cyclists. May 6, 2026 The City of Provo announced on May 6 that local businesses will host breakfast stations throughout the city as part of Bike to Work Day 2026. The event encourages residents to leave their cars at home and commute by bicycle. Bike to Work Day aims to promote cycling as a healthy and environmentally friendly way to get around the city. By offering free food, drinks, and treats at various locations, organizers hope more people will consider biking instead of driving. Participants can pick up breakfast, meet other commuters, have their bikes checked by professional mechanics, and connect with the BikeWalk Provo team during the event. The initiative is designed not only to reward those who already bike but also to introduce new riders to the benefits of cycling in Provo. A list of all participating breakfast stations is available on the city's website. Residents interested in joining can find more information at the City of Provo. Organizers say they hope this annual event will foster a greater sense of community among cyclists and encourage sustainable transportation choices.
