  • A Life and Health Insurance License in the home state within 45 days.
  • Ability to work in an office setting while remaining stationary for long periods at a desk, on a computer, with standard office equipment, or in meetings.
  • Ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and associates regularly.
  • Visual acuity to read and interpret correspondence, procedures, reports, and forms, and to inspect small defects or parts and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of licensed life insurance professionals to meet or exceed annual sales targets using established sales practices.
  • Set and maintain high standards of ethical conduct and performance for life insurance professionals providing customer service or sales advice.
  • Develop and implement strategies, marketing promotions, support processes, and productivity tracking.
  • Directly supervise associates and maintain effective staffing levels through selection, training, coaching, and development activities.
  • Provide support to CRC upper management on strategic initiatives and projects impacting the team.
  • Make decisions within an established range, escalate matters to the Manager when necessary, and provide regular updates to the Manager.
  • Manage annual production for the assigned team and CRC Sales.
  • Drive team and department productivity through direct feedback and coaching.
  • Develop associates to their full potential using prescribed coaching methodologies, addressing skills, competence, client experience, and product and process knowledge.
  • Maintain frequent and open communication with CRC team members and hold regular one-on-one meetings and team meetings with direct reports to improve communication and performance.
  • Monitor and coach assigned calls, chats, emails, and other interactions for each associate according to the established coaching-folder format.
  • Ensure coaching notes are complete and accurate and track progress resulting from coaching.
  • Ensure associates have the resources needed to complete their roles efficiently and effectively by communicating and reinforcing corporate and departmental missions, purposes, and goals.
  • Balance project work and other off-phone activities across team members, assign projects based on performance, competencies, and tenure, communicate assignments and time frames, monitor progress, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Monitor inbound calls, dialer activity, chats, faxes, and other systems interactions; make staffing changes based on resource needs and call volumes; and review team call statistics for associate development.
  • Establish staffing plans and individual schedules to maintain appropriate staffing levels throughout the day and evening, including making real-time schedule adjustments when necessary.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty on a rotating basis by monitoring sales operations, systems, and the telephony platform; resolving representative issues; and managing escalated client cases.
  • Communicate new product information, techniques, and industry information and explain how they can improve performance.
  • Provide statistical and status reports to the Manager or appropriate area and determine when additional reports or information are needed.
  • Participate in assigned projects and initiatives that support the success of the team and CRC, including projects to identify, measure, track, improve, and communicate the CRC's organizational impact.
  • Communicate the appraisal process and expected results to associates throughout the review period.
  • Work with CRC management and Human Resources to recommend performance ratings, salary increases, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary decisions.
  • Maintain personnel-file documentation and associate paid-time-off calendars to support disciplinary and promotional actions, and address associates who do not meet expected results.
  • Ensure orientation and training for new associates is completed in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
