  • Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia.
  • Must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
  • Must hold membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
Responsibilities
  • Provide support to clients receiving care as part of the Opiate Recovery Program.
  • Provide care in 1/2-day clinics up to 3 times per week, with clinic scheduling that may be weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or intermittent.
  • Aim to see approximately 25 patients per 1/2-day clinic, with volume flexible according to circumstances.
  • Provide weekly follow-up for patients who require it.
