Maintenance Workshop Manager
About the job
- A BEP, vocational baccalaureate, or BTS technical qualification, preferably in industrial maintenance, construction-equipment maintenance, or agricultural-equipment maintenance.
- Initial experience in a similar position.
- Recognized professional expertise in technical maintenance and knowledge of construction and public-works equipment.
- Ensure the technical condition, safety, presentation, and compliance of equipment offered for rental.
- Maintain and repair equipment, diagnose faults, perform on-site breakdown repairs when necessary, and inspect subcontractor interventions and repairs.
- Plan workshop and equipment-yard team activity, conduct a weekly equipment-yard inspection with the yard manager, and train the workshop team or recommend training when necessary.
- Prepare quotations and supplier purchase orders; verify the conformity of received parts and purchased services.
- Schedule periodic maintenance and regulatory inspections with customers and manage their follow-up.
- Keep workshop activity records up to date, including revision checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Prepare progress reports comparing work status with established objectives.
- Manage parts and consumables inventory and participate in evaluating local suppliers.
- A strong customer-service orientation and team spirit.
