About the job
- A BTS in Building/Climate Engineering, Energy, or a technical building degree at Bac +2/3 level is required.
- At least five years of experience on building projects is required.
- Technical autonomy in preliminary sizing of climate-engineering equipment and designing heating, ventilation, and plumbing networks is required.
- Knowledge of smoke extraction and IT246 is a plus.
- Proficiency with MEP drafting and projection software, including AutoCAD and Revit, is required.
- Proficiency with sizing tools for climate control, plumbing, and smoke extraction, including calculation notes in Excel, is required.
- Proficiency with office software, including Microsoft Office and Outlook, is required.
- Organization, rigor, autonomy, teamwork, and interpersonal abilities are required.
- Only French nationals may apply.
- Design networks in the role’s area of specialty while ensuring technical objectives, deadlines, and quality requirements are met.
- Follow design standards and the graphic charter, primarily using AutoCAD 2D and Revit MEP.
- Produce main route plans.
- Produce equipment layout plans for technical rooms, including 3D views, sections, and technical-equipment models detailed to the PRO phase level.
- Produce schematics.
- Produce quantity takeoffs and bills of quantities at the PRO phase level; execution studies are not part of the role.
- Work across building-services disciplines, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, sanitary plumbing, smoke extraction, and medical gases with support from the study engineer.
- Knowledge of thermal-calculation tools such as ClimaWin or Pléiades is a plus.
