Requirements
  • Current Vermont Registered Nurse license in good standing for Registered Nurse candidates.
  • Current Vermont Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing for Licensed Practical Nurse candidates.
  • Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
  • Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and assisted living residents.
  • Assess resident conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Monitor resident health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Collaborate with providers, therapists, nursing assistants, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Support residents and families with compassion, professionalism, and respect.
  • Serve as an advocate for resident-centered care and quality outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience for Registered Nurse candidates.
  • Long-term care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience for Licensed Practical Nurse candidates.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
