About the job

Requirements
  • Experience running cold outbound that produced pipeline, including the ability to identify the segment, volume, reply rate, and changes made when performance declined.
  • Experience building in Clay or an equivalent orchestration platform, including tuning enrichment waterfalls, provider fallbacks, and cost per enriched record.
  • Practical knowledge of email deliverability infrastructure, including domains, warmup, rotation, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, and the ability to respond to spam-placement changes.
  • Experience shipping systems with large language model providers, including wiring Anthropic or OpenAI models into production systems and handling incorrect outputs.
  • Ability to connect systems using SQL, application programming interfaces, webhooks, and enough code to join a data layer to a customer relationship management system and a sequencing tool.
  • Ability to write for technical buyers and adapt messaging for audiences such as platform engineering leaders and vice presidents of operations.
Responsibilities
  • Own outbound end to end and carry the number for qualified meetings and pipeline from cold outreach at a known cost per meeting.
  • Turn Plane signals, including GitHub activity, Docker pulls, self-hosted installs, community threads, funding, and hiring, into trigger-based outreach plays.
  • Segment prospects by deployment motion and firmographics across cloud, self-hosted commercial, and air-gapped buyers.
  • Own sender reputation across every domain and inbox, including warmup, rotation, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, blocklist monitoring, and isolation of cold infrastructure from the primary domain.
  • Build agents and systems for high-volume account research, integrate large language model providers, and write custom tooling when Clay, the customer relationship management system, or a sequencer is insufficient.
  • Work daily with Sales on reply quality and handoff, Marketing on message and offer, and Engineering on the product telemetry used by triggers.
  • Maintain outbound systems by pruning dead records, investigating bounce-rate changes, rebuilding lists after provider degradation, and stopping ineffective sequences based on performance data.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience running outbound for an open-source, open-core, or developer-facing product.
  • Experience using Plane, running it self-hosted, or building prospecting around another open project's community signals.
  • Experience selling into regulated or air-gapped environments and understanding the duration of security reviews.
  • Experience building agents that run in production without direct supervision.

Plane partners with Evermuse as our newest MCP integration.

Plane partners with Evermuse as its newest MCP integration. Plane announces its partnership with Evermuse, bringing customer transcripts into Plane for a faster path from signal to action. 8 Jul, 2026 TABLE OF CONTENT Plane is excited to announce its partnership with Evermuse, bringing real customer signals directly into your workspace. The Evermuse MCP is now available to Plane customers through its marketplace. What this means for Plane users. Plane users can query Evermuse call transcripts, and bring customer insights directly in Plane and turn them into actionable work items without leaving their workflow. What the integration does. The partnership runs both directions. From Evermuse into Plane, any suggestion generated from a call, whether it is a feature request, a bug repro, or a follow-up action, can be pushed as a work item into the right Plane project. It arrives with the full context attached: source call, timestamped quote, customer name, and account. "At Plane, we believe great products come from great collaboration. Evermuse has built a system that actually preserves the customer's voice all the way from the first call to the shipping of the feature. Bringing that into Plane feels less like an integration and more like the missing piece. We're delighted to finally have it, and even more delighted to make it available to every Plane customer." - Gaurav Chanchal, VP Product, Plane From Plane into Evermuse, Plane AI queries the Evermuse MCP directly. You can ask questions like "what have Enterprise customers said about SSO in the last 60 days" or "which accounts mentioned our reporting workflow this quarter" and get answers grounded in real call data, inside the same workspace where you plan and ship. Built on a shared belief. "Plane is where the work happens, and Evermuse makes sure the customer is in the room when it does. Together, we've connected the two things that should never have been separate: the voice of the customer and the work itself. Every quote, every pain point, every pattern, now lives where your team plans and builds. That's what this partnership is about." - Zack Drew, Co-Founder & Head of Growth, Evermuse Get started. The Evermuse MCP is available today in the Plane marketplace. Existing Evermuse customers can connect their workspace in a few minutes. Every team, every use case, the right momentum. Hundreds of Jira, Linear, Asana, and ClickUp customers have rediscovered the joy of work. Plane'd love to help you do that, too.
