Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree is required, with a focus in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, business management, or a related field.
  • Five to eight years of direct Supply Chain Management or Operations experience is required, ideally within life sciences manufacturing or another highly regulated industry and preferably within a manufacturing-site environment.
  • Deep knowledge of planning processes, including Sales and Operations Planning, New Product Introduction, supply planning, material and inventory planning, warehouse operations, and compliance is required.
  • High proficiency using and driving the effectiveness of enterprise resource planning systems is required; proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
  • Data analysis and digital automation experience is required.
  • Knowledge of continuous-improvement and process-improvement methodologies and tools, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping, is required.
  • Ability to translate technical and business language effectively for different stakeholders is required.

Responsibilities
  • Establish, qualify, and lead Sanford's Good Manufacturing Practice-compliant warehouse and materials-management organization while providing governance and leadership for site planning processes, inventory strategy, enterprise resource planning business processes, and operational-readiness activities supporting drug-substance manufacturing.
  • Support greenfield development and onboarding of Supply Chain and Warehouse operations for the Sanford Manufacturing site while ensuring efficiency and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Lead the development and oversight of warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, shipping, and internal material movements.
  • Oversee warehouse safety programs, equipment certifications and licenses, and warehouse regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain warehouse standard operating procedures, work instructions, and training programs.
  • Lead warehouse qualification and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Distribution Practice, Good x Practice, and Kyowa Kirin quality standards across material-handling activities.
  • Maintain inspection readiness for internal, external, and regulatory audits.
  • Support operational readiness from a Supply Chain and Warehouse Operations perspective, including logistics-route risk assessment and lane-ship studies, and ensure systems and processes are prepared for go-live and ongoing operations.
  • Develop and govern the process for developing and managing production schedules within value streams, including prioritization logic, constraint management, process controls, and flexibility and buffer strategies while achieving revenue, customer-service, inventory, and lean-productivity goals.
  • Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Science and Technology, and Quality to resolve resource constraints and bottlenecks.
  • Develop and implement inventory-management strategies that support revenue growth, minimize excess and obsolescence risk for finished goods and raw materials, and balance inventory turns and availability goals.
  • Own planning governance, inventory strategy, and escalation management for monthly demand and supply planning activities for products manufactured at the site, aligned with global Sales and Operations Planning and Sales and Operations Execution processes.
  • Drive proactive communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate supply risks and maintain continuity of operations.
  • Develop the cycle-counting process and physical-inventory reconciliation governance with Finance.
  • Lead and manage enterprise resource planning system updates and enhancements, including configuration development, impact assessment, and optimization of business-process flows across impacted integrated digital systems.
  • Establish change-management plans for enterprise resource planning update deployments, identify required standard operating procedure and work-instruction updates, execute user-acceptance tests, and conduct user-adoption and training activities.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve business-performance metrics and improvement targets to achieve best-in-class operations.

Link Cell Therapies has emerged from stealth with $60 million in Series A funding led by Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JJDC, bringing total capital raised to $92 million.
