Requirements
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Candidates must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a tuberculosis test if they have not had one within the last year.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Candidates must be able to move through positions including sitting, squatting, and bending.
  • Candidates must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Candidates must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after completing onboarding.
Responsibilities
  • Work one-on-one with children with autism.
  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
  • Stand, walk, sit, grasp, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, lift, and at times carry children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
