Siloam Hospitals Asri launches Pelvic & Bladder Comprehensive Clinic with integrated urology services.

Siloam Hospitals Asri launches Pelvic & Bladder Comprehensive Clinic with integrated urology services. - 02 July 2026 11:08 WIB Siloam Hospitals Asri introduces the Pelvic & Bladder Comprehensive Clinic to provide integrated bladder care. JAKARTADAILY.ID - Siloam Hospitals Asri has launched the Siloam Pelvic & Bladder Comprehensive Clinic, introducing an integrated healthcare service designed to improve diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for bladder and pelvic floor disorders in Indonesia. The hospital said the initiative responds to a common but often underdiagnosed health issue affecting both women and men. According to data cited by Siloam, one in eight women experiences urinary-related conditions, ranging from urinary incontinence and overactive bladder to pelvic organ prolapse and other pelvic floor dysfunctions. Many patients continue to perceive these symptoms as a normal consequence of aging or childbirth, delaying medical evaluation and reducing opportunities for early intervention. The newly introduced clinic adopts a one-stop integrated service model supported by a multidisciplinary medical team. The center combines expertise across urology, female functional urology and neurourology, medical rehabilitation, pelvic floor physiotherapy, neurology, radiology, acupuncture, and specialized nursing care. Under the integrated model, patients can access consultations, diagnostic testing, rehabilitation programmes, and advanced treatment within a coordinated system intended to streamline patient care. Advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive treatment One of the clinic's flagship services is Video Urodynamic Studies (VUDS), an advanced diagnostic technology that enables physicians to assess bladder and lower urinary tract function in greater detail and in real time. According to Siloam, the technology supports more accurate identification of underlying causes behind urinary disorders and allows doctors to tailor treatment plans to individual patient conditions. The clinic also provides Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy to support rehabilitation for conditions including urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and recovery following childbirth or surgery. As part of the Siloam Urology Center network, the facility is additionally supported by robotic surgery capabilities for cases requiring surgical intervention. The hospital said robotic-assisted procedures are intended to improve precision, visualization, and enable more minimally invasive approaches that may support faster patient recovery. "Supported by robotic surgery technology available at Siloam Hospitals Asri, we are now able to provide increasingly comprehensive services, ranging from diagnosis and rehabilitation to minimally invasive procedures and robotic surgery within one integrated center," said dr. Fina Widia, specialist urologist and consultant in Female Functional Urology and Neurourology. Raising awareness of overlooked conditions Alongside the clinic's launch, Siloam Hospitals Asri hosted a series of health talks focused on increasing public understanding of bladder and pelvic floor disorders. Medical speakers highlighted that social stigma, embarrassment, and assumptions that urinary symptoms are a normal part of aging continue to prevent many people from seeking medical help.
