About the job
- A degree in Engineering is required; Naval or Maritime Engineering is preferred.
- More than five years of experience in maintenance analysis and planning on naval defense programs, such as frigates or submarines.
- Experience preparing Technical Maintenance Analyses using Reliability-Centered Maintenance methodology.
- Experience developing maintenance documentation, including Planned Maintenance System pages and cards, Intermediate Maintenance Standards/Technical Repair Standards, and Integrated Class Maintenance Plans.
- Experience planning scheduled maintenance availabilities, such as PIP, PIV, and PIM according to REM F-110.
- Experience managing repairable-equipment pools and maintenance-by-replacement strategies.
- Experience conducting reliability and maintainability analysis using simulation tools.
- Experience with EOLO-IACV, Windchill, reliability and maintainability simulation software, SAFRAN Project or Oracle Primavera, and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Design, plan, and optimize maintenance strategies for military ships throughout their life cycle to ensure operational availability above 90% and minimize sustainment costs.
- Conduct Technical Maintenance Analyses using Reliability-Centered Maintenance methodology for critical systems, including propulsion, electrical generation, and combat systems.
- Define corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance strategies according to MIL-STD-3034A.
- Identify failure modes and effects and define mitigation tasks through FMECA.
- Create Planned Maintenance System Maintenance Index Pages and Maintenance Requirement Cards in SGML format.
- Draft intermediate maintenance and repair standards for second- and third-echelon maintenance.
- Integrate maintenance tasks into the Integrated Class Maintenance Plan.
- List materials and consumables for maintenance availabilities in Task Material Lists.
- Sequence tasks for PIP, PIV, and PIM maintenance availabilities.
- Analyze workloads across centers, including workshops and ships.
- Prepare class support plans according to AJAL Instruction.
- Define equipment for maintenance by replacement, such as engines and valves.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure spare-parts availability.
- Use simulation tools to validate availability targets above 90% and update system reliability and maintainability allocations.
- Generate maintenance progress reports and record data in EOLO-IACV and Windchill.
- Participate in logistics coordination meetings with the client.
- Naval or Maritime Engineering degree.
