Requirements
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or a college diploma in computer science, or equivalent training.
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in Linux administration, storage, or infrastructure.
  • Have very good knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux or comparable Linux distributions.
  • Have practical experience with Fibre Channel SAN, host bus adapters, zoning, LUN presentation, and multipathing.
  • Have experience with IBM SVC, IBM Storwize, V5000, V7000, or a comparable enterprise storage solution.
  • Have good knowledge of VMware, Zabbix, Ansible, TCP/IP, DNS, and diagnostic tools.
  • Have experience with backup, restoration, high availability, and disaster recovery.
  • Have very good command of spoken and written French and functional technical English.
  • Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, interdisciplinary analytical ability, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Linux servers, including Red Hat, Rocky Linux, AlmaLinux, and Debian.
  • Manage Linux installations, upgrades, patches, services, file systems, LVM, performance, and logs.
  • Participate in administering SAN and Fibre Channel environments, including HBA, zoning, LUNs, multipathing, and path diagnostics.
  • Administer or support IBM SVC and IBM Storwize solutions, including V5000, V7000, or comparable technologies.
  • Perform volume presentation and mapping, validate host-storage connectivity, and monitor capacity and performance.
  • Participate in storage migrations in collaboration with Solaris administrators and application teams.
  • Create and maintain VMware templates to accelerate deployment of Linux virtual machines.
  • Automate configurations and deployments with Ansible, shell scripts, or equivalent tools.
  • Support the backend of monitoring platforms such as Zabbix.
  • Participate in backup, restoration, and disaster-recovery activities using IBM TSM, Rubrik, NetBackup, or comparable solutions.
  • Document architectures, changes, procedures, incidents, and recommendations.
  • Participate in a planned on-call rotation for incidents affecting Linux, SAN, or storage.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Solaris, ZFS, Oracle, or SPARC environments.
  • Linux, IBM Storage, VMware, or Zabbix certifications.
