Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sprinkler Designers and Sprinkler Reviewers.
Manage team capacity, project assignments, and workload distribution to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Provide technical guidance and support on fire sprinkler system design, drafting standards, and project requirements.
Oversee design review activities and ensure compliance with NFPA standards, client specifications, and internal procedures.
Establish and maintain design quality benchmarks, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular development sessions, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning efforts.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and other stakeholders to align priorities and project objectives.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance productivity, quality, and scalability.
Track and report key performance indicators related to quality, delivery, utilization, and team engagement.

Purpose & Impact
The Sprinkler Design Squad Lead is responsible for leading and developing a team of Sprinkler Designers and Sprinkler Reviewers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality fire sprinkler system designs for international clients.
This role combines technical leadership, people management, quality assurance, and operational coordination. By fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence, the Sprinkler Design Squad Lead directly contributes to project success, client satisfaction, and the growth of JEM's design capabilities.
