Requirements
- 5+ years direct experience with federal regulatory examinations (FDIC, FRB, OCC, or CFPB) and bank partnership lending models.
- Familiarity with lending regulations, banking regulations and financial services industry best practices.
- Experience creating and implementing efficient operational and logistical efficiencies; development of a repository or maintenance of a GRC tool.
- Strong organizational, process, and project management skills.
- Experience interpreting and explaining legal and regulatory obligations clearly across multiple disciplines and levels.
Responsibilities
- Manage an examination program that fulfills legal and regulatory responsibilities while minimizing business and product impact.
- Support preparation of all exam requests and inquiries, review document and data requests, determine appropriate individuals for response, coordinate with team members and partners, manage follow-ups, harmonize data, and ensure all responses are submitted.
- Support any remediation project planning and tracking, ensure documentation provided is sufficient, manage data input and management into the repository/GRC, and manage repository/GRC workflow and deadlines.
- Manage all documentation within the GRC, ensure correct naming conventions, folder structures, and delivery to the regulator, partner with Regulatory Examination Project Manager to escalate and resolve issues, track, interpret, and operationalize legal and regulatory requirements.
