  • At least 8 years of professional entertainment content promo and live action commercial editing experience
  • Deep experience concepting and editing broadcast quality content promos and product/device commercials for leading entertainment media brands
  • Proactive and capable of ideating, storyboarding, editing, and finishing dynamic videos in a fast paced environment
  • Mastery of polished sound design, pacing, and mixing
  • Highly collaborative between copywriters, motion designers, producers, and stakeholders
  • Strong communicator
  • Technically proficient in Adobe creative suite, especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience producing their own motion graphics is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Report into Manager of Video Creative within Roku Creative Studio
  • Concept, storyboard, edit, and finish polished network-style content and device promos
  • Effectively present and pitch creative concepts to broader creative team and stakeholders
  • Lead other editors and creatives through ideation and execution
  • Lead brand creative executions that elevate and unify all video touchpoints
  • Advocate and preserve brand voice and personality in all creative executions
  • Own the music selection, sound mixing, and finishing for all videos
  • Ensure quality control and accuracy with final edits
  • Collaborate daily with creative colleagues to ensure consistency and alignment
  • Transcode, render and manage the database for all final assets
  • Self-manage tasks and accurately scope project timelines
  • Proactively anticipate challenges and provide practical solutions
