Zing Coach is seeking a Head of Analytics.  As a digital business, we foster a strong data-driven culture. This role is a strategic one that will shape and drive our data strategy to enable a robust data-driven culture across all the business areas. The role will help build our business strategy, be an enabler for robust and efficient analytics of a subscription-based app, enabling measurements across all business areas (product, marketing, monetisation, LTV), with experimentation being a backbone of quantifying change.

You will drive data strategy through architectural decisions for robust data delivery and further ensure that necessary data models are built on top of it in a single-source-of-truth manner for reusability and efficiency. You will oversee from architectural data decisions to data models, to business stakeholders such as marketing, product, finance and monetization. Your goal will be to continue development of a data-driven culture and nurturing data as a strategic asset at Zing.

Responsibilities

• Foster a data-centric culture, underscoring analytics’ role in driving a subscription-based business model

• Spearhead analytics strategies, team, and infrastructure focusing on the subscription business model to optimize user experience and revenue

• Drive data strategy through architectural decisions for robust data delivery

• Ensure that necessary data models are built on top of it in a single-source-of-truth manner, for reusability, accuracy and efficiency

• Manage senior stakeholders such as C-suite, marketing, product, finance and monetisation

• Foster Experimentation culture across all business areas and ensure that appropriate frameworks are used where necessary

• Identify crucial data points for subscription analytics to gain insights into user behavior and revenue patterns

• Create and maintain core business KPI dashboards, monitoring the health and expansion of business

• Ensure that robust process are in place with key business areas to enable analytics as a team find growth opportunities and inform business decisions

• Maintain high data accuracy and integrity, constantly improving data quality

We expect that you have

• A minimum of 8+ years in data analytics, with substantial experience in B2C, mobile app analytics and the subscription business model

• Record of managing a data product from start to end. From data events tracking, database infrastructure to data modelling and KPI definitions and presentation

• Proven track record in econometrical models used to establish business inter-dependencies., especially in LTV modeling for subscription services

• Working knowledge in SQL and a strong understanding of Python

• Experience with analytics tools like Amplitude, Looker, or similar

• Knowledge of data processing tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow) and working knowledge in data modeling and enrichment

• Excellent experience in business requirements gathering and translating these to analytics objectives and initiatives

• A history of autonomous, innovative problem-solving in analytics
