Requirements
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask while working with visitors, computer tasks, and phone calls.
  • TS/SCI clearance, or an existing Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site administrative services and access control for buildings using computer databases and ongoing communication with colleagues.
  • Manage, maintain, and use Government-furnished computerized visitor databases, including Security Management Systems, Defense Information System for Security or its follow-on system, Command Reporting Operations Support System, hardcopy clearance records, and visit authorization files and forms.
  • Develop and enforce access control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security standards and protocols.
  • Communicate and educate others on access control protocols and security-awareness best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of access control activities, including logs, meeting lists, and equipment sign-outs.
  • Verify clearances and compare inquiries against databases.
  • Follow meeting protocols and communicate effectively with colleagues, other companies, and government personnel.
  • Monitor on-site personnel within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility for compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Issue, receive, update, and inventory or account for badges.
  • Monitor and evaluate directorates for operations security and information security, and maintain an overall security posture.
  • Support physical-security functions involving restricted areas.
  • Monitor, track, and scan property and equipment entering a restricted area, ensuring that equipment inventory forms are completed, current, and filed.
  • Receive, register, control, and safeguard incoming and outgoing security-classified mail.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred experience using Defense Information System for Security, Security Management Systems, Command Reporting Operations Support System, or similar government databases.
