Requirements
  • Experience developing web backend applications using Java J2EE and multi-tier enterprise applications.
  • Experience with code design patterns including Factory, Singleton, Builder, Dependency Injection, and MVC, and designing software artifacts in UML using RSA and Microsoft Visio.
  • Knowledge of code repository tools including SVN, CVS, and Git.
  • Experience using Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Hibernate or JPA, Maven, Log4j or SLF4J, and unit-testing tools or frameworks including JUnit, DBUnit, and Mockito.
  • Experience with performance-testing frameworks such as JMeter and performance analysis using JConsole.
  • Intermediate-to-advanced SQL and MySQL database knowledge.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP services.
  • Experience using AWS services including S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, CodeDeploy, and EBS.
  • Experience with testing and refactoring practices, applying standards and best practices in software construction, and using Sonar to measure code quality.
  • Experience implementing OWASP Top 10 security practices and basic-to-intermediate SSL cryptography.
  • Knowledge of agile software development methods, including Scrum and Jira.
  • A bachelor's-level degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related career.
  • Technical English.
