T. Rowe Price is hiring 50 people to get closer to advisors.

T. Rowe Price is hiring 50 people to get closer to advisors. October 15, 2026 T. Rowe Price is adding more than 50 client-facing positions and has hired two senior executives as it expands its presence in the wealth management market. The $1.86 trillion asset manager is increasing coverage of broker/dealers and RIAs while building specialist teams around alternative investments, ETFs and model portfolios, a substantial commitment to reaching advisors through more than its traditional investment products. Kevin Collins, head of U.S. Intermediaries, says the firm has built momentum in wealth management but sees considerably more opportunity ahead. The expansion will put additional people in the field while strengthening the research, portfolio construction and investment capabilities available to advisory firms. T. Rowe Price isn't simply hiring more salespeople to distribute existing funds. It's building a larger organization around the increasingly complicated ways advisors assemble portfolios. The two executive appointments reflect that ambition. Kevin Johnson joins as head of wealth research after more than 30 years in the industry, most recently overseeing platform distribution at Allspring Global Investments. Ryan Bauer becomes head of RIA enterprise national accounts, bringing more than 15 years of experience, including 12 years in the asset management businesses of Deutsche Bank and DWS Group. Both report to Annie Brown, co-head of wealth management within U.S. Intermediaries. Johnson will work with manager research and model teams, while Bauer will concentrate on relationships with the largest and most complex RIAs. Those assignments put T. Rowe Price closer to the people and institutions deciding which investment strategies become available across entire advisory organizations, rather than relying exclusively on individual advisors choosing funds for individual clients. That distinction matters as the distribution business changes. Large RIAs increasingly operate centralized investment committees, model portfolios and research functions that influence allocations across thousands of client accounts. Winning a place in those systems requires a different relationship from the traditional wholesaler's visit, with more attention to portfolio construction, implementation and the operational requirements of enterprise-scale advice. T. Rowe Price is responding with a broader investment menu as well. The firm is emphasizing tax-optimized drawdown strategies, customizable model portfolios, separately managed accounts, ETFs and alternatives. Each gives it another way to participate in portfolios where the investment decision may be shaped as much by taxes, household circumstances and implementation requirements as by a manager's investment record. The expansion also follows a period in which T. Rowe Price has been extending its capabilities beyond the mutual funds that established its reputation. In August, the firm announced a move into additional fixed-income ETF capabilities through its acquisition of F/m Investments, while its portfolio construction research has documented growing use of alternatives and active ETFs in advisor models. The new distribution hires give those expanding capabilities a larger route into the wealth channel. There is a competitive calculation underneath the investment. Asset managers increasingly need to demonstrate that they can help advisory firms solve problems extending beyond security selection. A strong investment strategy may earn consideration, but tax management, portfolio customization, research support and the ability to implement solutions across a large practice can determine whether that strategy ultimately receives assets. The enterprise RIA business makes those stakes particularly clear. A relationship with a large advisory organization can influence allocations across many offices and investment teams, but earning that relationship requires sustained engagement with sophisticated buyers who have their own research capabilities and considerable negotiating power. Bauer's appointment gives T. Rowe Price a senior executive specifically responsible for pursuing those relationships. Collins is betting that a larger field organization, supported by specialists and research, can turn the firm's investment capabilities into a more substantial wealth management business. The more than 50 new positions represent an investment in people at a moment when much of the industry's attention is concentrated on technology and automation. T. Rowe Price has spent decades building investment expertise that advisors can buy. Its latest expansion recognizes that increasingly sophisticated advisory firms also want help deciding how, where and when to use it.

T. Rowe Price is expanding its US Intermediaries Wealth Management business to deepen ties with financial advisors. The Baltimore-based firm says advisors want more targeted service as client needs grow more complex. It is adding more than 50 client-facing roles in broker-dealer and registered investment advisor (RIA) field sales, and in its alternatives, ETF, and model portfolio specialist teams. Ryan Bauer, who spent 12 years at Deutsche Bank's DWS Group, is head of RIA enterprise national accounts. "We see opportunity to do more," said Kevin Collins, head of US Intermediaries. Robinhood Crypto explores new product with $1.9T AUM T. Rowe Price.

Robinhood Crypto explores new product with $1.9T AUM T. Rowe Price. Highlights * Robinhood Crypto and T. Rowe Price Digital Assets explore a potential partnership. * The firms plans to launch Stock Token tied to actively managed ETFs to Robinhood Chain. * Robinhood offers over 190 Stock Tokens linked to stocks and ETFs. Robinhood Crypto said it is exploring a potential collaboration with $1.9T AUM asset manager T Rowe Price to bring tokenized exposure to actively managed exchange-traded funds to Robinhood Chain. The firm stated that a successful outcome would be a first Stock Token of its kind. In an X post on October 9, Robinhood Crypto revealed plans to launch a Stock Token linked to an actively managed ETF on Robinhood Chain. It is under discussion with T Rowe Price Digital Assets to bring an actively managed ETF on its chain. "It would be the first Stock Token of its kind. Institutions are here, and our rails are ready," Robinhood Crypto wrote. The collaborations and a Stock Token tied to an actively managed ETF are subject to requirements including legal due diligence, issuer board approval, final terms, and regulatory clearances in relevant jurisdictions. Robinhood already offers over 190 Stock Tokens linked to stocks and ETFs including NVIDIA, Google, Apple, and Invesco QQQ on its Ethereum layer-2 network Robinhood Chain. These tokens function as tokenized debt securities, providing economic exposure to underlying U.S. stocks and ETFs. Holders do not receive voting rights or direct legal ownership of the underlying securities. The tokens trade 24/7 through supported wallets and venues, carry on-chain price feeds, and reinvest dividends through a multiplier rather than cash distributions. The stock tokens are backed one-for-one by securities held with a custodian. The latest proposed product by Robinhood differs because it would track an actively managed ETF by T Rowe Price rather than a single stock or a passive, index-tracking fund. In an actively managed ETF, the portfolio composition, weightings, and trades change according to the asset manager's decisions. As CoinGape recently reported, Robinhood bought Bitcoin for the first time for its corporate balance sheet. Johann Kerbrat, SVP and GM of International & Crypto at Robinhood, confirmed the trading firm bought $25 million in Bitcoin.
