Bottom Line

Nonprofit college access and completion program

Bottom Line pairs first-generation, low-income students of color with dedicated college advisors who guide them through college selection, admissions, financial aid, persistence, internships, and career planning. Advisors provide ongoing support to help students persist to degree completion and launch careers, building social capital and a clear path from college to work. The approach is distinguished by a two-decade track record, a focused mission to close the college-completion gap, and regional programs in Massachusetts, New York City, and Chicago serving about 7,000 students. The goal is educational equity: more students from this demographic complete their degrees and achieve successful careers.
