About the job
- A higher technical education and significant experience in the maritime, naval, or industrial environment are required.
- Experience monitoring technical or maintenance contracts is required.
- Experience managing worksites or directing work in ship repair or a demanding industrial environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of naval propulsion systems, including diesel engines, propeller shafts, and generator sets, is required.
- Technical knowledge across multiple trades is required, including mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, automation, boilermaking, or piping.
- The candidate must be able to coordinate teams, manage schedules, and oversee several matters in parallel.
- Monitor the vessel's operational readiness and maintenance under the MCO contract.
- Support contract management, including tracking commitments, client meetings, contractual milestones, and document deliverables.
- Ensure performance objectives for quality, cost, and schedule are met.
- Monitor the vessel's technical operational availability.
- Prepare and coordinate technical stoppages, including defining work, scheduling, costing, and tracking execution.
- Analyze failures and coordinate corrective actions.
- Write and update technical documents, including test programs, intervention reports, and technical files.
- Knowledge of the French Navy and public procurement is a plus.
