- A degree from a major engineering school and more than 8 years of professional experience, including at least 6 years in product management as a Senior Product Manager, Lead Product Manager, or Head of Product in a startup, IT services company, or consulting firm.
- Ability to oversee delivery of complex projects, including quality, timelines, and value creation.
- Strong interpersonal and client-facing ability to build trusted relationships, communicate with top-management stakeholders, and handle sensitive situations calmly and clearly.
- Strong feedback and management skills, including active listening and the ability to challenge others and provide demanding feedback to support collective progression.
- Interest in the retail and e-commerce sector and motivation to help structure a growing practice.
- An artificial-intelligence-oriented mindset.
- Motivation to learn, challenge the team, ask for help, and accept being challenged.
- Manage a team of Lead Product Managers and Product Managers across projects in the Shoppers domain.
- Support Product Managers and Lead Product Managers on their projects by monitoring delivery, helping unblock situations, and providing regular, demanding feedback focused on progression.
- Own team members’ careers by building a clear progression plan with each person and projecting their next steps at the client and within Theodo.
- Conduct annual evaluations for the team by assessing progress objectively and setting ambitious, achievable objectives.
- Secure the success of projects within the assigned scope, including quality, timelines, and value creation for clients and teams.
- Run a weekly product dojo to share best practices, raise collective capability, and maintain the practice’s product culture.
- Contribute to staffing decisions and matching talent to project needs.
- Facilitate collective events, including all-hands meetings and practice rituals, to strengthen team cohesion and momentum.
- Participate in presales activities to grow the practice portfolio and create new opportunities.
