Business & Finance 28/07/2026 00:18 InterSystems launches Data Studio AI Assistant to accelerate enterprise data exploration and insights. InterSystems New Generative AI extension simplifies how teams explore, analyze, and visualize enterprise data BOSTON-BUSINESS WIRE- InterSystems, a creative data technology provider powering some of the world's most important applications, today announced the general availability of InterSystems Data Studio(TM) AI Assistant, a new generative AI-powered extension for InterSystems Data Studio that helps organizations more easily understand, navigate, query, and visualize data through natural language interactions. As organizations move from AI experimentation to production deployments, many are discovering that the greatest challenge is not the AI model itself, but providing AI systems with access to trusted, current, and business-ready information. Enterprise data is often fragmented across applications, databases, cloud services, files, data warehouses, and departmental silos, making it difficult for users and AI systems to generate reliable insights. "Organizations are increasingly looking for ways to turn their data into actionable intelligence without adding complexity," said Scott Gnau, Senior Vice President, Data Platforms at InterSystems. "InterSystems Data Studio AI Assistant brings generative AI directly to a trusted data foundation, enabling users to interact with information more naturally while maintaining the governance, security, and controls enterprises require." Unlike AI solutions that require organizations to assemble and maintain multiple tools, InterSystems Data Studio AI Assistant is embedded within the broader InterSystems Data Studio platform. This enables organizations to combine AI capabilities with a common, integrated data layer that supports consistent access to trusted information across users, applications, analytics platforms, and AI systems. Built as an optional extension for InterSystems Data Studio and available as a fully managed service, AI Assistant provides interactive assistants and agents that help users explore both structured and unstructured data, discover available information assets, generate visualizations, and accelerate data analysis. The solution includes out-of-the-box agents as well as a flexible multi-agent framework that enables organizations to create custom assistants tailored to specific business requirements. About InterSystems InterSystems, a creative data technology provider, delivers a unified foundation for next-generation applications for healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain customers in more than 80 countries. Its data platforms solve interoperability, speed, and scalability problems for large organizations around the globe to unlock the power of data and allow people to perceive data in imaginative ways. InterSystems named a Leader in the Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Enterprise Electronic Health Records

InterSystems named a Leader in the Gartner(R) Magic Quadrant(TM) for Enterprise Electronic Health Records 2026.07.17 13:10 BOSTON-(BUSINESS WIRE)- InterSystems, an innovative data technology provider supporting more than one billion medical records worldwide, today announced it has been named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Electronic Health Records (EHR). Gartner's Magic Quadrant is a culmination of research in a specific market, providing a broad view of the relative positions of competitors in the market. By employing a graphical representation and a uniform set of evaluation criteria, the Magic Quadrant helps quickly assess how well technology providers are executing on their stated vision and how they are performing against Gartner's market view. "Healthcare organizations are under pressure to modernize while continuing to deliver safe and reliable care every day," said Don Woodlock, President of InterSystems. "Our strength lies in combining proven global scale, advanced interoperability, and enterprise-ready AI capabilities. This allows clinicians and healthcare organizations to modernize at their own pace while continuing to deliver world-class patient care." InterSystems continues to lead in interoperability for regional and national health information exchanges, and its electronic health record (EHR) recently obtained certification under the European Union (EU) Class IIa Medical Device Regulation (MDR), maintaining a leading role in regulatory approval. With implementations in 29 countries outside the United States, InterSystems employs a globally proven approach to deliver healthcare technology that is interoperable and adaptable. InterSystems continues to invest heavily in improving its EHR functionality, supported by flexible deployment options including on-premises, hybrid, vendor-managed, and public cloud models, continuous enhancements delivered through its bimonthly release cycle, and predictable subscription and SaaS pricing models that include advanced AI capabilities. These advances are reflected in its platforms: InterSystems IntelliCare(TM) is a next-generation electronic health record (EHR) designed with AI at its core. This platform is specifically designed to help healthcare organizations improve productivity, streamline clinical workflows, and reduce administrative burden through built-in artificial intelligence and automation. InterSystems TrakCare(R) is a proven, comprehensive healthcare information system deployed in more than 600 hospitals worldwide. TrakCare supports integrated care delivery across hospitals, community settings, and national health systems, providing a unified patient record and interoperable platform for coordinated care.
