Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience shipping full-stack production software.
  • Proficiency in Python, or equivalent experience with .NET or Node; experience with React or Next.js on the front end.
  • Experience leading the technical side of a delivery, including owning an implementation plan, sequencing work, and directing engineers without being their manager.
  • Experience with API design and systems integration, including integrating with legacy, poorly documented, load-bearing systems.
  • Client-facing delivery experience, including running discovery sessions, handling difficult stakeholders, and delivering an account independently.
  • Production experience with large language models and agents, including prompt engineering, agent development, evaluation frameworks, and deployment at scale.
  • Ability to deliver value when requirements are ambiguous.
  • Ability to communicate precisely with engineers and clearly with executives.
  • Ability to explain a situation in which you scoped down a client request and the reasoning behind the decision.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites 20–30% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Own technical delivery end to end on assigned accounts, including discovery, architecture, building, production deployment, and post-launch support.
  • Embed with client engineering and business teams, translate business problems into architectures, and explain architectures in terms executives can defend to their boards.
  • Build production applications and agentic systems inside client environments, including large-language-model-backed workflows, agent orchestration, evaluation frameworks, and integrations with core banking, lending, policy administration, and financial data systems.
  • Design integration surfaces, including APIs and systems integrations with legacy platforms.
  • Harden prototypes into production systems for regulated institutions through security review, audit trails, personally identifiable information handling, and performance under real load.
  • Identify when clients are requesting the wrong solution and guide them toward an appropriate scope.
  • Guide client engineers so they can extend the delivered systems independently.
  • Own the most difficult production problems on assigned accounts, including problems in client infrastructure.
  • Own implementation plans, direct work, determine sequencing, and delegate work to surrounding engineers, including internal artificial intelligence engineers.
  • Build solutions that support account growth without owning a revenue target or commercial conversation.
  • Flag risks before they become problems.
  • Leave documented, runnable, and maintainable software that continues working after the engagement ends.
