About the job
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, interpret complex information, and make informed decisions.
- Understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong attention to detail when analyzing data, preparing reports, and reconciling accounts.
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing to explain financial concepts, present findings, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Ability to think critically and propose effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Proficiency in Excel, including data manipulation, creating pivot tables, using formulas and functions, and building financial models.
- Ability to work effectively with others, contribute to team goals, and communicate collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn new tools, software, and industry trends and adapt to change.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Integrity and sound ethical judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities.
- Assist with the preparation of financial models and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Support budgeting processes.
- Perform other functions and duties as assigned.
- Preferably have an expected graduation date of Spring 2027.
