Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a recognized equivalent is required.
  • Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec is required.
  • At least five years of experience delivering and supervising civil engineering projects as an engineer is required.
  • Construction-site safety training, including an ASP card, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • French-language proficiency in speaking and writing is required.
  • A valid Class 5 driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required.
  • The ability to travel throughout Estrie and Centre-du-Québec is required.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure that construction of the works complies with the represented clients' contractual requirements.
  • Inspect construction sites regularly and resolve problems.
  • Coordinate receipt of the completed work, verify progress against plans and specifications, and ensure compliance.
  • Lead site meetings and supervise a work team according to the scope of the mandate.
  • Prepare payment requests, conduct receipt of the completed work, and prepare inspection reports.
  • Provide technical and administrative project management as needed.
