Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Three years of experience developing communications supporting enterprise technology, healthcare, or government programs.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, editing, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating executive presentations, newsletters, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement materials.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple communication priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level 3 Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute communication strategies supporting enterprise healthcare modernization initiatives.
  • Create executive briefings, newsletters, implementation updates, presentations, fact sheets, FAQs, and other communication materials.
  • Prepare stakeholder communications supporting system deployments, organizational readiness, and technology adoption.
  • Collaborate with Organizational Change Management, Training, and Program Management teams to ensure consistent messaging across all project activities.
  • Draft executive correspondence, leadership talking points, customer announcements, and internal communications.
  • Coordinate communication schedules, publication calendars, and distribution plans for project deliverables.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities by developing communication products for meetings, workshops, demonstrations, and outreach events.
  • Review, edit, and proofread communication materials to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Monitor communication effectiveness and stakeholder feedback while recommending improvements to communication strategies.
  • Maintain communication documentation, templates, branding standards, and content repositories throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar communication and content development tools.
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management, stakeholder engagement, and technology adoption initiatives.
  • Experience supporting VA, VHA, DHA, or other federal healthcare organizations, health information technology, telehealth, or federal program management.

ALKU acquires rockITdata to expand AI capabilities and healthcare IT solutions

ALKU, a specialised staffing firm based in Andover, Massachusetts, has acquired rockITdata, a technology consulting firm focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and data analytics. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition enables rockITdata to access ALKU's network of AI and data engineering talent whilst expanding ALKU's healthcare information technology capabilities and presence in federal health contracts. RockITdata serves enterprise and public sector clients. Andrew Bull, ALKU's chief executive officer, said combining rockITdata's technical expertise in AI, data, and federal health with ALKU's resources allows the firm to deliver more comprehensive solutions for complex client problems.
