Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years experience as a people manager leading an engineering team of 3 or more, preferably in a customer facing product.
  • Strong understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ, and streaming or event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Java or Go, and a willingness to spend some time with hands on keyboard, and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Demonstrable experience in building and scaling distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • You have a BS/MS/PhD in a Computer Science, Engineering or related scientific field or equivalent professional experience.
  • To conform to US export control regulations, candidates should be eligible for any required authorizations from the US government.
Responsibilities
  • Launch new product capabilities for application developers and cluster operators across the most used streaming platforms for the next phase of Data Streams Monitoring business growth.
  • Partner with product management to define and prioritize features that unlock value and new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Data Streams frontend and backend systems.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, momentum, and continuous improvement.
