What You’ll do:
A successful AdOps Specialist’s day is 70% hands-on the keyboard trafficking, optimizing campaigns, and pulling reporting, 20% building/refining AdOps processes, and 10% internal and external meetings speaking to all solutions related to AdOps. This role will work closely with both Jane Media Account Management and Product. You will be an expert on all things AdOps, helping to build out AdOps processes for Jane’s advertising business by learning our internal systems quickly and then proposing, implementing, and monitoring strategies that will help drive the business forward and deliver best-in-class performance for our partners. You will be quick to dig into data and glean insights to formulate and implement impactful strategies, as well as monitor/ troubleshoot with internal stakeholders. You will act as a critical team member helping deliver optimal performance while building out future processes and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Learn and master Jane’s internal tools and systems as well as Jane’s ad product suite
- Create/improve AdOps processes; proactively identify inefficiencies, glean insights from data, propose solutions, and get buy-in from key stakeholders
- Own campaign execution from start to finish: traffic, optimize mid-campaign, and provide campaign wrap reporting
- You will optimize campaigns to ensure the highest possible outcomes, ensuring target fulfillment each month without sacrificing campaign performance
- Manipulate frequency caps, bid rates, hour, and day-parting, etc. efficiently with a strong understanding of how these adjustments will impact overall campaign delivery and performance
- Independently navigate any campaign issues that may occur: discover issues and troubleshoot with Jane’s internal ad dev team, Account Managers, and 3rd party ad server
- Consult with Account Managers to ensure the success of all campaigns and the satisfaction of the client. Proactively propose solutions for underpacing/underperforming campaigns
- Assist with End of Month billing processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 2-3 years of experience in advertising, media, or ad techPossess deep analytical skills; ability to analyze data across multiple metrics to determine, implement, and monitor optimization strategies
- Has advanced knowledge and experience on digital advertising KPIs and the ability to optimize toward them
- Must have experience optimizing towards ROAS or conversions
- A firm grasp on media rate types, ex. CPM and CPC
- Superb attention to detail with the ability to deliver results in a proactive, and cohesive manner
- Ability to think strategically, create and own a plan, and execute proactively
- Deliver on client expectations, articulate optimization strategies internally and externally
- Self-starter with a love for digital technology, data, and cannabis
- Experience building out/improving AdOps processes and implementing new ideas
