Requirements
  • Currently hold Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or be scheduled to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst examination within one month.
  • Hold a Licensed Behavior Analyst license if applicable.
  • Be willing to complete a background check.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a reliable car and a driver's license for commuting to and from the clinic.
  • Have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavior challenges using applied behavior analysis.
  • Lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Perform bending and squatting for up to one hour per day, along with fine and gross motor activities, kneeling, sitting at floor level or in a chair, and standing for periods of time.
Responsibilities
  • Develop meaningful, evidence-based, hierarchical programming based on data, progress, and continued client assessment.
  • Provide ongoing direct and indirect training and supervision to registered behavior technicians on the patient caseload.
  • Provide ongoing direct and indirect family guidance necessary for programming success.
  • Communicate consistently with all treatment team members.
  • Participate in collaborative efforts with service providers outside the organization.
  • Review data on a timely basis and communicate with team members when needed.
  • Maintain professional boundaries in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
  • Perform comprehensive initial intakes and recurring assessments.
  • Complete discharge and transition planning for children on the caseload.
  • Perform other assigned tasks.
