HVAC Maintenance Technician

- EPA certification is required or the candidate must be currently pursuing it.
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- A valid driver's license is required, and the candidate must be approved to drive by the company's insurance carrier.
- The candidate must be able to use a computer tablet and smartphone and read a map or follow GPS.
- The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
- The candidate must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail and follow-through, possess analytical skills, provide excellent customer service, and function in a team environment.
- Applicants must undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential and/or commercial customers.
- Perform thorough and accurate HVAC inspections and communicate findings and recommendations to clients in a written option sheet.
- Complete required service documentation and collect, record, and deliver fees to office administration.
- Transport materials and tools to job sites and properly account for assigned tools.
- Keep the truck clean, stocked, and accurately inventoried.
- Inform a manager if a customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the call.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- One to three years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse HVAC service issues is preferred but not required.
