Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in System Integration and Test (SI&T).
  • An active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
  • Ability to secure and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access as required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide system-level integration and test engineering support during verification activities, including functional, qualification, and production environmental testing of space hardware and systems.
  • Support integration and test activities for spacecraft buses, communications payloads, mission payloads, and full space vehicles.
  • Support the development and deployment of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for integration, checkout, and test execution.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation.
  • Support day-to-day execution of integration and test activities for payload and spacecraft systems.
  • Perform EGSE and Unit Under Test (UUT) checkout, selloff, and troubleshooting across all phases of the system lifecycle.
  • Analyze test data, identify anomalies, document issues, and drive root cause and corrective action with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Support system verification and validation activities from design through manufacturing, test, and delivery.
  • Contribute to major program reviews, including SRR, SDR, PDR, CDR, IRR, TRR, I&T, and final selloff.
  • Interface with internal teams, subcontractors, and customers to ensure successful test readiness and execution.
  • Travel as needed to support integration, test, and post-delivery activities.
  • Support extended or weekend hours when required by program schedules.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience testing space-qualified, aerospace, or military hardware.
  • Experience with system requirements analysis, testability, verification planning, and integration of hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools, including traceability and verification matrices.
  • Experience designing and using test beds, simulators, and Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).
  • Experience supporting programs through the full lifecycle, including concept development, proposals, design reviews, integration, test readiness, and delivery.
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) test and measurement equipment.
  • Familiarity with satellite telemetry, tracking, and command (TT&C) systems and tools such as COSMOS or InControl, and National Instruments tools such as LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • Familiarity with scripting or automation tools such as Python, Java, Perl, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a large-program, fast-paced environment.

HGT Law investigates L3Harris after CEO Kubasik exit sent shares down 4.61% to $278.38

HGT Law is investigating L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) for possible securities law violations and breaches of fiduciary duty by its officers and directors. On August 17, 2026, L3Harris said Christopher Kubasik had stepped down as chairman and chief executive officer, citing conduct that breached its Code of Conduct. The stock fell $13.44, or 4.61%, to close at $278.38. The Wall Street Journal reported on August 19, 2026 that multiple women had raised concerns about Kubasik years earlier, including a formal harassment complaint around 2023. In 2012, Lockheed Martin asked him to resign as president over a relationship with a subordinate. The firm is examining whether L3Harris made misleading statements or withheld material information, and whether its board failed in overseeing executive conduct and approving Kubasik's separation terms.

L3Harris lands $4.7B Patriot missile deal to boost US interceptor production to 2,000 units by 2030

L3Harris Technologies has secured a seven-year, $4.7 billion contract with Lockheed Martin to manufacture Patriot missile defence components. The Melbourne, Florida-based defence contractor will produce advanced two-pulse solid rocket motor propulsion systems for the PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement interceptor, designed to neutralise aircraft, cruise missiles and ballistic threats. This marks L3Harris's largest PAC-3 propulsion contract. The company operates a facility in Northampton, Massachusetts, through its KEO division, which produces naval technology including US periscope systems and radar systems for surface ships and submarines. To meet production demands, L3Harris broke ground on two new facilities in Camden, Arkansas, in June. The expansion supports the US Department of Defense's goal to increase annual interceptor production from approximately 600 units to 2,000 units by 2030.

L3Harris tech powers NASA's Roman Space Telescope to map universe 1,000 times faster than Hubble

L3Harris Technologies has provided key components for NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, which recently launched successfully. The company supplied the 2.4-metre Optical Telescope Assembly and radiation-hardened electronics for the observatory, which will operate approximately 1 million miles from Earth. The telescope is designed to survey the cosmos 1,000 times faster than the Hubble Space Telescope. Once operational, it will conduct three primary surveys, including scanning roughly 12% of the entire sky in under 18 months to measure the universe's expansion rate and study supernova explosions from up to 8 billion years ago. The project represents more than a decade of collaboration between L3Harris and NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. L3Harris has previously contributed technology to missions including the James Webb Space Telescope and Mars rovers.

L3Harris taps Intuitive Machines to build 18 spacecraft for $1.8B missile defence mission

L3Harris Technologies selected Intuitive Machines on 4 August to build 18 advanced spacecraft platforms for the Space Development Agency's Accelerated Missile Defense Tranche 3 mission. Intuitive Machines will manufacture and deliver the satellite platforms to host L3Harris' payload technology for national security space operations. L3Harris reported Q2 2026 revenue of $5.9 billion, an 8% year-over-year increase, with net income of $600 million. The company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $23.2 billion–$23.7 billion, backed by a $42.0 billion backlog. Intuitive Machines reported Q2 2026 revenue of $206 million, more than four times its prior-year level. However, the company posted an operating loss of $47 million and burned $84 million in cash during the quarter, leaving $367 million in cash. Its backlog expanded to a record $1.8 billion.
