Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
About the job
- Must hold a current state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Texas.
- Must be CPR certified.
- Must have a valid driver's license and at least the state-required liability auto insurance.
- Must be willing and able to drive locally to patient homes and skilled nursing facilities in the designated region.
- No prior experience is required.
- Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat each patient.
- Perform wound care procedures as necessary and appropriate for the plan of care.
- Define and document patient diagnoses.
- Ensure patients are satisfied with their care.
- Educate and manage patients.
- Safely debride wounds using various methods during patient visits.
- Apply topical wound care and other wound management products.
- Document findings and the course of treatment in patient charts, including follow-up notes.
