  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the utility-scale solar engineering, procurement, and construction industry or related preconstruction or project support roles is required.
  • Strong organizational and writing skills are required to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required for cross-functional coordination and external client interaction.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to follow through on project milestones are required.
  • The candidate must be able to focus quickly on project specifics and shift perspective to broader strategy.
  • The candidate must be able to manage challenges requiring input from multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Basic industry knowledge of the design, performance modeling, and construction of utility-scale solar power plants is required.
Responsibilities
  • Act as a central coordinator for requests for proposals, requests for information, and requests for quotations by analyzing requirements, developing response strategies, and aligning internal contributors.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Estimating, and Operations teams to produce compliant, timely proposal documents.
  • Maintain and improve a library of reusable proposal content, templates, and pricing assumptions.
  • Interface directly with clients and proposal stakeholders to clarify deliverables and respond to technical questions.
  • Participate in developing and reviewing baseline schedules, drawing logs, general conditions estimates, and proposal exhibits.
  • Support coordination of project due diligence activities, including site assessments, geotechnical reports, and utility locates.
  • Maintain RFI Logs, Preconstruction Budget Logs, Exhibit Trackers, and Proposal Submittals.
  • Facilitate and document Owner coordination meetings during preconstruction and escalate issues to the Project Manager as needed.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly internal and external reports summarizing progress, open items, and risks.
  • Assist the Project Manager in developing and reviewing Limited Notices to Proceed, Early Works Agreements, and Owner contract exhibits.
  • Perform preliminary cash flow analysis and track schedule implications, early deposits, and procurement lead times.
  • Support permitting timelines, submittal requirements, and agency communications.
  • Help coordinate procurement and resource acquisition timelines aligned with project milestones.
  • Communicate across disciplines to ensure clarity on preconstruction tasks, risks, and dependencies.
  • Provide input on process improvements, tools, and coordination strategies for the preconstruction team.
  • Take ownership of tasks, follow up proactively, and assume larger responsibilities over time.
Desired Qualifications
  • An MBA or technical graduate studies is a plus.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, or estimating software such as HCSS HeavyBid is preferred.
  • Willingness to relocate to South Florida is preferred for effective team collaboration and career development.
