Requirements

  • The candidate must be currently enrolled in a degree program in Information Systems/Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics/Business, or a comparable field.
  • The candidate should have a basic understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) processes and be willing to support their application; prior experience or interest is advantageous but not required.
  • The candidate should have initial knowledge in one or more of product breakdown structures, bill-of-materials decomposition, systems engineering, configuration management, obsolescence management, manufacturing-parts calculations, materials management, or technical documentation, and be motivated to develop further in these areas.
  • The candidate should be interested in learning processes and best-practice methods and supporting their implementation in projects and customer environments.
  • Interest or initial exposure to the aerospace and defense industry is advantageous.
  • The candidate must have good German skills (at least B2) and be able to communicate in English; the posting also expects very good German and English skills.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel.
  • The candidate should demonstrate communication skills, a proactive approach, and a service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Support consulting, rollout, and integration subprojects, learning how processes and technologies are applied in real projects.
  • Support customer consulting on requirements, processes, and IT technologies, including learning how concepts to optimize aftersales processes are developed.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, potential analyses, and business cases by researching and structuring information for customer projects.
  • Help create and review standardized deliverables, concepts, and tender documents, and adapt them for projects.
  • Work on customer projects in arrangements that include hybrid work and on-site assignments; project deployment depends on customer and project circumstances.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with or interest in ILS processes is advantageous but not required.
  • Interest or initial exposure to the aerospace and defense industry is advantageous.
