Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Business Unit Leader and the daily guidance of an assigned Project Manager, you will coordinate all technical activities for multimillion-dollar commercial MEP projects. This role serves as a key communication link between all internal disciplines, external customers, and vendors. Within the design-build construction process, you will continue to develop your skills across estimating, scheduling, and design while ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in liaising with internal departments, including accounting, purchasing, engineering, construction, fabrication shops, and legal.
Partner with Purchasing to manage scope, pricing, submittals, and delivery timelines for all purchased items.
Coordinate installation procedures among Engineering, Construction, and other stakeholders.
Oversee onsite job progress, leveraging design expertise to resolve emergent operational and installation challenges in real-time.
Direct daily administrative workflows including Document Control, RFIs, daily logs, POs, MOPs, submittals, and procurement logs, per the Project Manager's direction.
Coordinate personnel activities, plan workflows, and track labor, materials, and deliveries to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.
Identify and escalate potential project risks, collaborating with the Project Manager to drive solutions to complete resolution.
Cultivate strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and field personnel by driving OAC meetings, kickoff, and foreman meetings while actively managing subcontractors to ensure project standards are met.

Hours:

This is a non-exempt position from Monday through Friday. Work hours begin and end between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm with a one-hour break for lunch and two rest breaks. Eight hours per day is required and other occasional overtime may be necessary for business needs

Competitive Wages:

$28.84 to $57.69 an hour. ACCO Engineered Systems has expanded its Peoria, Arizona fabrication facility with a new high-purity process piping shop. The 10,500-square-foot addition features ISO Class 5 and Class 7 cleanrooms designed to support data centres and manufacturing facilities in the semiconductor and biopharmaceutical industries. The facility, which opened in 2025, now spans 95,000 square feet and has created more than 130 jobs for United Association Local 469. The high-purity expansion is expected to add another 15 to 20 specialised trade jobs per shift. The new shop includes 15 specialised workstations for orbital- and TIG-welded stainless steel pipe production, plus PVDF plastic pipe stations. This expansion positions ACCO as Arizona's single-source provider for design, fabrication, installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial mechanical systems.

On Thursday, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced that ACCO Engineered Systems (ACCo) chose El Paso County for expanding its operations. ACCO is an employee-owned company that has been designing and installing HVAC systems since 1934, when it started as Air Condition Company. In the release Thursday, ACCO says it expects the average annual wage of the 135 positions will be $87,037. The facility will be housed at the Falcon Commerce Center along I-25 and Baptist Road, according to its news partners at The Gazette. The fabrication facility will be a $36 million investment for ACCO as it expands its operations.
